Came well sealed (outer plastic band and inner sealed liner). Contents are a fine dust-like powder which is easy to scoop and add to your water. Increase the suggested amount by 50% unless you like it overly-sweet. I use a hand blender meant to foam milk for coffees which worked exceptionally-well. No goop at the bottom of my container.
